Canvas replaces the usual mesh or synthetic base on this Air Max 97, laid in a pale alabaster tone across most of the upper. A safety orange mini Swoosh punches through on the quarter panel, picking up a color rarely seen on the model's overlays, while sail runs through the midsole and parts of the outsole for a softer, off white contrast.
This colourway released August 15, 2022, giving the model a workwear leaning texture through its canvas construction rather than the usual mesh, textile or synthetic uppers seen across this line. The safety orange accent is a sharper, brighter break from the neutral alabaster and sail base than most of the model's other 2022 releases carried, standing out against a run of colourways that otherwise stayed close to white, grey and cream.
