Metallic gold leather covers the toddler-sized Air Max 97, paired with black overlays, white underlays and university red hits on the heel and outsole. The wavy reflective piping and concealed lacing loops that shaped the shoe's 1997 debut carry over intact, scaled down for the smallest sizes in Nike's lineup. A full-length visible Air unit runs heel to toe beneath the sole, the detail that made the original running shoe stand apart when it launched.
