Earlier models paired a Dynamic DuoMax medial post, a firmer foam wedge on the arch side, with a plastic Trusstic shank under the midfoot. Generation ten replaced both with LiteTruss, a single stiffer foam structure that resists medial compression and guards against the foot rolling inward, without the weight of the plastic piece.
Reviewers treated it as a genuine improvement rather than a rename. The shoe came out lighter than its predecessor, and the support read less like a wall the foot hits and more like a gradual correction, which is the direction most stability shoes moved during the same period. ASICS layered the change alongside its Guidance System geometry, using midsole shape to steer the foot from landing through toe-off rather than relying on posting alone.
