Black panels frame a Sail synthetic upper on this Terrascape 97, with Neutral Grey filling in the lace stays, eyestay and branding across the front half of the shoe. The mostly neutral base keeps the colorway closer to the model's understated roots than the line's brighter drops, and the synthetic build stays lighter than the leather options Nike has used elsewhere in the family. The Terrascape build carries a thicker, more rugged sole than the standard Air Max 97, made from Nike Grind rubber and paired with recycled material through the upper under Nike's Move to Zero program. 'Sail Black' released as a general offering rather than a limited run, following the Terrascape line's earlier 2022 and 2023 colorways. At $185, it kept pace with the Terrascape 97's standard retail price.
