An all black mesh upper covers this Terrascape 97, from the panels and lace stays down to the branding and pull tabs, leaving no secondary color in the mix. The single tone build lets the sole unit's shape and the wavy side panels carry the design rather than a palette. Nike released the pair on September 23, 2022 at $185.
Like other Terrascape colorways, 'Triple Black' uses recycled material through the upper and a Nike Grind rubber outsole under Nike's Move to Zero program, set on a chunkier sole than the standard Air Max 97. The all black treatment gives the shoe a more versatile, everyday look than the line's brighter releases. At $185, it matched the retail price of the other Terrascape 97 colorways released that year.
