Virgil Abloh's Off-White label returned to the Air Max 97 in October 2018 with the 'Menta' colorway, a women's-exclusive release priced at $190. Where earlier Off-White pairs on this silhouette leaned into stark contrast, this build stays close to neutral tones, letting a see-through upper and a splash of color at the Swoosh carry the design.
The mesh-like upper is rendered in a sheer wolf grey that lets the shoe's internal layers show through, printed with Abloh's now familiar handwritten text and quotation marks along with zigzag stitch lines tracing the panel seams. A Swoosh fades from green into blue and red rather than sitting in a single color, and a smoky grey outsole keeps the translucent theme running from upper to tread, with full-length Max Air visible beneath the midfoot.
