The Nike Mind 001 is a slip-on mule built for the hours before competition rather than for the game itself. Its defining feature sits underfoot: 22 nodes that press up and down against the foot with each step, which Nike says engage sensory areas of the brain and help an athlete stay present. A stretchy fabric footbed lets those nodes move while keeping the contact soft, and soft foam in the midsole handles the cushioning.
