Buying a stability shoe used to come with a ritual. A specialist shop would put you on a treadmill, decide your foot rolled inward too far, and hand over something with a firmer wedge along the arch. The GT-2000 was one of the shoes most often handed over. That framing softened through the 2010s, and brands themselves led the retreat: by this generation ASICS had stopped naming the medial post in its marketing, presenting support as guidance rather than correction. What sold in volume barely changed. This is the edition running on FF Blast foam, and the colour treatment is the unusual part, with lime zest carrying the entire upper instead of accenting it. A shoe bought almost entirely for function ends up the brightest thing on the wall it sits on.
