Running shoes got more expensive between 2020 and 2023, and this line is a plain place to watch it happen. The tenth edition listed at a hundred and thirty dollars; the eleventh arrived ten dollars higher, and the waterproof build in the same range went out at a hundred and sixty. Part of that step bought something real, since this was the generation ASICS moved to FF Blast foam, with more rebound than the FlyteFoam midsoles the series had run on. What did not change is the job the shoe has held since it took over from the GT-2100 numbering in 2012: guide a foot that rolls inward, at a price well below the brand's flagship support model.
